Summary:
Malawi’s economy has made progress in achieving macroeconomic stabilization following two years of severe drought and lingering consequences of corruption scandals. The government is committed to achieving this goal while maintaining medium-term debt sustainability, as reflected in the Malawi Growth and Development Strategy III for 2018–23.
